So apparently it's cool to put all the OCG-imports in a Gold Series. Most of them do look pretty cool though, like dat Hippo XD

Although I did facepalm when I saw Number 13's and 31's TCG names, their art isn't as censored as I thought it would be

Doesn't look like a bad pack overall, the older reprints are nice too. Just wish it actually had enough cards inside to be worth the price.

I wish they'd reprint something I actually needed. Like haven't a good chunk of those reprints already been recently reprinted in stuff like the Legendary Collections and/or Battle Packs? Though I guess holo Crane Crane is pretty cool, meanwhile Morphing Jar is hilarious lack of foresight and/or trolling.

As far as new cards go the only ones I really care about outside of just collection are manga Fairy Dragon, Zombie Fusion, and Ghost of a Grudge.

Oh, it's definitely trolling. Remember when Royal Oppression was reprinted in Gold Series 4... right before it was announced to be banned? They've done this before, and it is kinda hilarious.

So, looking at the clearer Nephilim's art, it looks like she's the one who controls Shadolls.

And they have a pretty good FLIP effects, and even if they died before they can even flipped, they still can activate their effect. Neat!
Nephilim's foolish burial's effect will trigger the other Shadoll's effect, and if you haven't notice it, technically using the Shadolls as fusion material will also trigger their send to grave effect (since it's "if" then it doesn't miss timing), so there's nothing to worry with losing card advantage.

And not only are the Shadoll apparently all controlled by this Nephilim, the Shadolls are collected from several powerful clans. Two Shadoll monsters already out there are from the Gustos, one is from the Flamvell, and their fusion card is based on the Gem-Knight fusion card.

This Nephilim is obviously one of the most dangerous villains in the Master Guide. I've said this before, but learning these cards stories is going to really exciting.

Still, her effect is pretty ridiculous, but makes it worth it for being a Fusion monsters. Oh, and how I laugh at OCG and their now-playable Cyber-Stein!

With all this discussion on Shadolls, I'm thinking we may have to have a separate thread for Shadoll discussion. This archetype is officially the new Gustos/Gishkis.

This card really has so much potential in almost any deck nowadays. Dandy is just the icing on the cake, really.

Let's all give a hand to Konami for these new Dragons of Legend cards.

Should be worth noting that if I'm reading these cards right, the effects will even trigger if destroyed from the hand/deck or if the summon is negated.

They say "when destroyed in your possession", which means either hand or field, not deck. So no Chain Destruction combos for you lol

Overall not bad cards really. Kinda like White Dragon Wyverburster and Black Dragon Collapserpent, only more powerful and less supported.
