Honestly, not worth it if they're only supporting Bujins and Fire Fists (btw, isn't there already a Fire Fist SE coming out soon? Why do we need more of this?)

Batteryman looks nice if you play Batterymen, Blackwing looks dumb except for being a tuner (and even then, Vayu is still a thing). Magic Hand looks like a decent FTK stopper, Prominence Hand is just boring Xyz plays. No comment on Starter Deck thing.


Also, since this thread has basically become "repost all the links from YGO Organization here", I'm changing the title of the thread to "General Yu-Gi-Oh! News" instead. It's not like older things need to be discussed anyway.

The discard effect is a cost, so I don't think it would work on DW, that's what if you mean by break, is powered them even more.

I disagree.

It depends on a deck to deck basis, but for decks that can use it the LP loss and restrictions mean absolutely nothing for the advantage it gives.

Ah whoops, forgot, my mistake.
This even seems like overkill in Fableds though... whenever I've played with or against Fableds, the only time I see them having 5 or more cards in hand is turn 1 since they discard so much. So it's either totally game-breaking, or too costly lol

The only decks that I can find truly benefit out of having this much advantage are burn decks, which don't typically have that much LP to waste anyway, and stall decks, which, uh, the point of stalling is to not lose LP so this seems counter-intuitive lol. I mean, more than 2 monsters means it's way too much of a cost for that kind of field control, and even if you can summon a big monster from your extra to protect you and/or lock your opponent, most decks can do this without spending so much LP.

Granted, I don't really like the card because it is poorly designed. But that doesn't mean I think it is good, or OP as others may think.

Shadolls looks reaaalllly fun. I love how all of them doesn't afraid of mass destruction cards. They can get pluses almost as easy as Gishki. Armageddon Knight/Mathematician in Shadoll is just like Stratos. And since Nephilim can't be Fusion Summoned in reliable way except by using Shadollroots since all the Shadolls are DARK, cards like Ryko/Veiler can be decent addition to the deck. 

And Wynnda is still the only humanoid Shadoll besides Nephilim. Hopefully there'll be more interesting DT char for Shadolls besides Wynnda. 

The funny thing is that if your opponent using Dark Hole against Shadolls, they got minus.

Shadoll Lizard is the gold armor that Stellanight Unuk is wearing, that's interesting. Shadoll Dragon is Fire Dragonstar Shungei, And Shadoll Beast is Naturia Beast.

Meaning the Shadoll are now in possession of Gustos, Flamvells, Gem-Knights, Naturias, Dragonstars, and Stellaknights...

How the heck did the Spirit World deal with this massive puppet army!?

In addition, the Curse of the Shadow Prison field spell seems to offer a kind of insight as to how Nephilim captures monsters to convert into puppets. And as the Shadoll series specializes in control, it makes perfect sense for the field spell to allow for the use of an opponent's monster in a Shadoll fusion, although that will certainly be a bit annoying to face off against.

And the Squirming Fallen Shadow Trap Card is interesting because it looks like two Dragonstars are facing off against their OWN Shadoll selves. An internal battle for control maybe? Maybe the Shadolls are something like 'bringing out the darkness in one's heart' kind of deal?

Curiouser and curiouser the more cards come out. Keep those Shadolls coming Konami.

The Monarchs Storm Forth also looks really nice. It completely outclasses Soul Exchange in any Monarch deck.

Yes, Shadolls really are incredibly powerful. They are one of the few archetypes I've seen that are simultaneously great at defending and great at offense. And you may not even need Armaggedon Knight/Mathematician because of Shadoll Lizard's effect, but they certainly would help. I'd be surprised if Shadolls don't top in the meta.

The even funnier thing about these "corruptions" is that every single Shadoll has become a Spellcaster-type. I honestly think they look more like Machine or Zombie imo, especially if they are indeed puppets, so that's a bit curious. But does this mean... they could work with Spellbook engine? O.O I think that would be such a ruthless deck if it was made correctly.

Looks like we'll get to hear more about the afterstory of DT sooner than we think. I think the Genryu-type, in particular, could be something created by Sophia's defeat after the world reset, since it's never existed until these new Dragonstars came about. And with light, there is always darkness...

As for now, I think Armageddon Knight is pretty much needed since it immediately dump the Shadoll into grave when summoned, so you get the plus straight away, it's just like Stratos. It's just too good. Shadoll Lizard needs to be sent by card effect before it can dump anything, so certainly Armageddon Knight and Shadoll Lizard has different role. As for Mathematician, it might not needed now since it's EARTH, meaning can't be used as Shadoll's fusion material.

LOL this is more of Trishula's fault than Soul Charge's. Although I do see how Soul Charge leads to other OTKs (including deck that I made for lols that I may post later, who knows ).

Shadoll get FIRE Fusion and Quick Play Shadoll Fusion.
New Herald looks annoying, prevent you from doing anything including sp summon. Fortunately it can only be summoned with its own Ritual Spell, or else Happy Lover gonna be OP.

Shadoll quick-play fusion looks alright, though I still think I'd rather just Super Poly. But hey, anti-FF and etc fusion, I'm alright with this. (now I just wonder how long it'll take before my side ends up looking like my old Omni-HERO side decks)

New Herald ritual is pretty lulzy, though I guess it sorta balances out by requiring lv12 total? Synchro I'd like a bit more if it had actual stats built into him.
