- Your entry should be made by yourself. No stealing from other people's work(s). If you caught up, you'll be disqualified.
- For video entry, if you would use content that doesn't belong to you (such as music or pictures), give credit to the original owner of those contents (for example if you got the pic from Pixiv, mention the artist's name or give link to the artist's page). If you don't know who made it, give link where you got it instead (except if the pic you use are official card arts, those are fine without credit).
- You can submit more than 1 entry. If you do so, before the deadline you should pick 1 of your entry that you want to be carried into Contest Poll.
- Contest Poll would be made after the deadline. Everyone can vote there. Voting will have its own rules after Contest Poll created.

The deadline's not for another month, mate... and these things take time you know XD

But technically, you are correct. If nobody does anything by the 6th and you entered the only piece, no matter how sloppy or little effort you put into it, you'd win!

It can be any kind of anniversary as long as its about Charmer. So, if you want to make something like Death Anniversary, go on.

What is the minum length for a short story to qualify?

It can be as short and simple as 2 paragraphs if you want (assuming it's completed), as long as it can be qualified as a complete story, you can make it as short as you want. If you not sure, just PM me your work so I can see if it can be qualified as contest entry or not.

There's no maximum length, though 1000-5000 words could work.

Based on what Kaze said in the OP, I'd assume you post your entries on this very thread. Since it has derailed into a second page, maybe we could also link the post containing your entry from the OP for easy access?

Charmer Fan Fiction Arc 1
"My child, be strong, your greatest trial awaits you, but I know you can do it." A distant voice said to Hiita. She tried with all her effort, as usual, to see who was telling her this but as usually was the case she woke up instead. She looked around and as much as it angered her the sun was just now beginning to rise, as usual. "Stupid dream voice, can't you wait til a decent time to wake me up" Hiita said in frustration. Her company hadn't been the least bit disturbed by her outcry. The Celtic Guardian was a heavy sleeper. This only served to frustrate her more.

Well, if the day had begun for her, it was beginning for him as she smacked him over the head with her staff while resuming a sleeping pose. "Ow!" He said as he jumped up. He turned and saw Hiita sleeping. "Oh it just clumsy Hiita again, I thought it might have been a serious threat." he said attempting to bait her into revealing the fact she was awake and it worked, per usual. "Hey, what do you mean clumsy?" Hiita snapped as she jumped up. "So you are awake. Why do you go around hitting your body guard?" He asked. "More like tolerable stalker." She replied. "Well, if your up, might as well cook breakfast." He said "Hey, it is your turn!" She replied. "Oh is that right? I am afraid I don't remember must be head trauma," He jested.

At times like this she wondered if he was worth the help. She also wondered if this was supposed to be fair turnabout or if he was just plain lazy. Either way she knew far too well arguing with him would do her no favors, plus she hated his cooking anyway. So she went to there supplies and began cooking a meal. As the day went on Hiita had become anxious, not a new thing but it was getting worse with each day. Six months ago her village had been attacked by Sky Fire. During the attack she was separated from her sisters. Well one of them was a boy, but she teased him by calling him a girl, served him right for his doll collection Hiita thought, plus it made introductions so much easier. "Meet the girls" sounded so much better than "Meet the girls plus one boy." Hiita thought, and remembering that made her even more lonesome.

There wasn't much for her to do. She had no clue in which way any of her sisters were and had no desire to simple pick at random, she was stubborn but not stupid, the world was after all pretty big. So currently she had been hanging out with the Celtic Guardian, they met during the attack with Sky Fire. He promised to protect until she was reunited with her sisters. Little did Hiita know, today was the beginning of her own adventure. The Celtic Guardian was former military and he still had a few friends willing to do the occasional favor. He had asked if anyone had spotted one of Hiita sisters. Today he finally received news but it wasn't about the charmer's sisters. It was about Sky Fire location.

Hiita, just as badly as she wanted to find her sisters. wanted to beat the crap out of Sky Fire. The times recently had been pretty bad, a war had been raging for the better part of three years now. Between the armies attempt to revive the seven dark lords and the knights attempt to prevent it. For the most part the battles had raged away from most towns and since most villages had little in means of decks or weapons it worked. Evil and good didn't care about most towns, it was a system that worked. Sky Fire had been the guardian of our village so for him to betray us. It made Hiita incredibility mad. The Celtic Guardian wasn't sure they should go after Sky Fire. They seemed to be little in terms of reward, it wasn’t likely he knew anything about her sisters.

"Well it is something, plus that bucket of bolts sure as heck deserves a pounding." She said. The Celtic Guardian decided to yield for a few reasons, she had been right about the stagnation. In addition the location was relatively close to another town, one that doesn't get to communicate with this one, so the prospect of new information was worth wild. Though most of all, he knew Hiita, if he told her no, she would simple run out on him in the middle of the night, again. The stories he had, in only six months he thought. So he agreed to take her, on the condition they packed proper supplies and traveled at a reasonable rate.

So a few days later they were ready for the journey. Hiita was excited to finally be doing something other than waiting. There travels were fairly boring, not much happens across the areas they crossed. The Celtic Guardian was a bit home sick when they crossed the sogen fields. Though they marched onward, and before the end of a second week they had arrived at place Sky Fire was said to be hiding out. The abandoned Factory of Mass Production. As they approached they were met by a guard. The rock spirit. "None shall pass" He said.

There was no reasoning with him, in a sense he wasn't alive, more akin to a golem, a statue given life. So it had no soul, no personality, it was less intelligent then most machines of the age. Though they were reliable guards. Also the Celtic Guardian noted, being made by Dark Lucius, the leader of the army of darkness. So he did all he could do. He dueled.

DUEL

After destroying the rock spirit they entered around. It didn't take long for them to find Sky Fire. "You bastard!" Hiita shouted, finally able to vent pent up anger towards him. "Error, error. Must destroy enemies to village. Must." Sky Fire said. It didn't make any sense, Hiita was part of the village, plus he is the one that destroyed it, why would he talk of defending it. The Celtic Guardian noticed it. "Hiita, he has the mark of the rose. He was brainwashed into it. He didn't have a choice." He said. Hiita was stunned, she had jumped to conclusions, well either way. She still planned to duel him. Originally it was to kick his butt. Now it is just to free him from the mark of the rose. "Sky Fire, I challenge you to a duel." Hiita said.

DUEL

Upon winning Hiita had broken the spell of the mark of the rose. Sky Fire was groggy, he needed a moment to clear the effects it had on him. That’s when she arrived, Kuick. "Sky Fire are you trying to undo the effects of my masters curse? Bad Sky Fire, when you lose, your supposed to die. Here let me fix that." She said as she hit Sky Fire with a spell. Sky fire collapsed. He had died. "Damn it, come back here so I can kick your ass" Hiita said "Sorry dear, I don't have time to deal with low level pests like you. I have more lose ends to tie." She said as she left.

They had in the grand scheme of things accomplished nothing. They learned Sky Fire was innocent but they didn't know why that plan was set up or where it was going. They didn't even have any evidence in which to clear Sky Fire with. Though they were more concerned with the living currently. Sky Fire was dead, they couldn't worry to much about him now. After all Hiita still had sisters to find. So with no leads they ventured into the next town hoping

The Celtic Guardian had some contacts that would help him. While the Celtic Guardian was gathering information Hiita noticed the crystal seer stand. She knew a warrior like the Celtic Guardian would never put much faith into this kind of stuff, but as a spellcaster should couldn't help but trust her. So she entered her stand

"Welcome child, right on time." She said "Whats with this child crap" Hiita retorted. "Sorry I am pretty old, I call nearly everyone a child. But either way Hiita, I have important news for you. Wynn is nearby, only two towns away. But by the time you reach there, only a stone will be your clue she was there. So go see it if you must but after that you must complete trail if you are to hope to save her." She said "Whoa slow down a bit I need to do what?" Hiita asked. Clearly she was the real deal. "Two towns ahead, a chapel with a rare card is located, on the edge of where Wynn currently is. Before you seek Wynn, I suggest you earn that card. You will need it, I have for seen that. After that save Wynn, she will be in grave danger. If you cannot save her, than we shall all parish. This is all I have to tell you, now you must leave danger approaches." She said. After Hiita left she waited a bit longer for The Celtic Guardian. When he did arrive he mentioned that Wynn had been sighted two towns over and they should leave right away. Hiita could not be in more agreement.

Unknown to them after they left the town, Kuick had arrived. She walked into the crystal seer shop. "I would announce myself my motive and my intention but I am assuming you know all three." She asked. The Seer nodded in approval. "Before this happens I have one question, why did ya do it?" She asked "Because in the grand scheme of things my life is but a small token to give up. And know this, it is not just my end I have seen but yours as well, and be assured it is not years from now in bed. It is a thought that gives me comfort given what you plan to do." The seer said. Moments later she died. After that Kuick was once more on the move.

It took Hiita and the Celtic Guardian nearly a week to arrive at the town at which Wynn was sighted. What surprised the Celtic Guardian to no end was how Hiita had not immediately began searching but instead seemed more interested in the tower or trial in this town. The trials of a city, were a historical monument. There were a great magic, a way to preserve the heroes of the past. When a hero worthy of such an honor was chosen, such a place would be built in his home town. A ritual would then be preformed to cast a mold of his spirit, so that any that enter may see a reflection of his or her soul. If the reflection deemed you worthy, they would give you some of there power, generally a card. These cards were the rarest in the world. For they couldn't be traded. They would be worthless in the hands of anyone other than who earned them.

The Celtic Guardian probably wouldn't have considered it odd for her to be interested, as her home town hadn't had one, except they had passed two others on there journey so far. The Celtic Guardian wondered what made this one so much more alluring to her. The building was beautiful, not just because of its well crafted features, it beauty was in sort of an art way. The Celtic guardian didn’t want to think of the kind of person that wouldn't appreciate the beauty. The hall, had one word engraved above it. "Hope" He know who this trial was made for, such a fitting word for him.

Hiita wasn't in-taking the beauty of this place, not that she couldn't rather she was on a mission. The crystal Seer had told her she needed this card to save Wynn. Nothing would stop her. "Spirit of this Trail, I challenge you." Hiita said. A light appeared and took a shape. "I accept your challenge maiden".

DUEL!

Falling to the ground Hiita was crushed, she didn't understand, how could the Seer be wrong. The light figure didn't vanish but instead spoke. "Child, you did not seek my power for trivial reasons did you, you are counting on using it to save someone?" He asked. "I am not a child! And so what if I plan to rescue someone. What does it matter to you." Hiita said back. "Give up child, you did not have what it takes to pass a test, your target would be better off without someone wasting there life for nothing." He said. "How dare you? Screw you and your power. To think I would give up, just because it isn't easy, if I did that I would have never even come here. I will go on, and I will save her with or without your help." Hiita shouted back. "Child, my test is not in power but in determination, you have proven yourself worthy. Always continue, always hold onto hope." With that he vanished and Hiita deck glowed a moment later, the card was resting on top of her deck. "Number 39."

She was understandably, happy. They then left, after all, they had other business in this town. Before long they came to an old man, he was carving names into stones. It was in honor of those who had died recently. This town had suffered great loses from a recent attack. Time was not a luxury so they asked him about Wynn. "She no longer with us." The man said. "What? Did she... die?" The Celtic Guardian asked. "Nope she is at Dark Lucius castle." The man said. "She been captured? I don't believe it" Hiita said. "Believe? Don't Believe, I don't much care which poison you pick. Excuse me though I need to resume my honoring of the dead." The old man said as he carved a name into the stone.

The Celtic Guardian was talking but she didn’t hear anything of what was said, she noticed the name the man was currently carving into the stone. It took all her attention. He had carved. "Petit Dragon." Hiita was unsure how to react. "No, no, not him." Hiita thought as she broke down. She had always given that guy trouble, more than he deserved, but he always took it. It had given her comfort that Wynn was with someone as awesome as herself. She felt if anything happened he would be able to keep Wynn safe. Well, he used too, Hiita thought. She walked away, still completely ignoring the Celtic Guardian, she didn't want him to see her cry.

The Celtic Guardian didn’t follow, he had after all be with her for six months and this wasn't even on his top ten of concerning thing she would randomly do. It didn’t matter anyhow, he knew what he had to do. It was likely better he did it alone anyhow. The recent battle here, he knew who of the allied forces was likely commanding it He went to that commander.

"William, you have a lot of nerve to show your face here." Gilford of Lightning had said to the Celtic guardian. "The one person alive that knows my real name. I never gonna get used to that" William thought to himself. "Yeah, trust me it isn't where I wanna be also. I need information." William said. "Oh you need something, how funny after what you did." Giflord said. "What I did! Have you been kicked in the head. Did you forgot what else happened that day?" William retorted. "You gave up too much for them William, you are no longer part of this army. Leave!" Gilford said. "If we don't save others, what purpose do our swords exist? I would gladly do that day over exactly the same. I will leave after I have said my piece. Wynn, a little girl, captured by the enemy, I don't expect you to risk anything to save her. I know you, you plan to attack soon, if you do, if I am right, the information about your attack, it will give me an opening to go through. A chance, give me at least that" William said.

"One life does not outweigh us all. You are no longer military, I can not give you such information." Gilforrd said. "William, I ask you not to worry, your favorite Constellar, Kuas I believe this town has a great spot to see her. I suggest you go there, it is far, I suggest you leave now. I would also rest well and early, I suspect that area is going to get rain fall tomorrow. You wouldn't want to get caught sleeping in the rain. Now you said your piece, and I have said mine, leave now." Gilford said as he walked away. the Celtic guardian did the same, he knew he would be getting no more information out of him.

Though, he had given him quite enough. He went to find Hiita, tomorrow was after all, going to be very dangerous. The following morning had completely clear skies. Hiita couldn't help but voice her concerns. "Your sure the signal is rain? I mean not only does it not look like it will rain today, it doesn't look like rain is due for weeks." Hiita said with concern. The Celtic Guardian disregarded it, he know all to well what Gilford could and likely would do. They didn’t have to wait much longer. Like lightning the skies became dark and cloudy instantly, never had Hiita seen such a sight, moments later, blades of lightning rained down from the sky. Striking the tower which was assumed Wynn lay in capture.

Hiita was not the type to forsake a sign, without delay they were off. It is important to note this was a base for the current resign of evil, it was not without its hazards but when an army is knocking on the other side, the defensive soldiers were not everywhere. It wasn't long before a guard did notice them. It was the Allure Queen, LV5. Hiita drew her deck. "This bitch is mine" Hiita said. "Yes, I am all yours sweetie, hope you can handle it." The Queen said back.

DUEL

Hiita had won, thanks to her new card, she didn't like having to admit. They traveled further into the base, seeking where Wynn was. Hiita could feel her sister, without delay they traveled. Before long they were once more stopped, this time by Dark Grefer. The Celtic Guardian pushed him out of Hiita way. "Go, I got this one" He said. Hiita may not have wanted to but she understood, she could sense Wynn was close, so she left him behind and traveled as fast as she could. She was traveling up the tower, it seemed off, she thought dungeons were in the basement, either way she marched on.

Before long she was near a door in a tower, high up in the base she reasoned. That's when it happened, She saw him. Gilford of Lightning, he was dead. Above him was Dark Lucius Lv8. "Crap" Hiita thought, of all the people she didn't want to run into. What happened next, not only was she not ready for, she could not have ever been ready for. Dark Lucius died. He fell down the stairs before her landing on top of Gilford. "Had they killed each other?" Hiita wondered. That's when she found Wynn, at the top looking down on her.

"Hiita, I have been looking forward to you, please come up." Wynn said. "What the hell, Wynn never spoke like that, why was she so calm, two of the strongest fighters of both sides lay before them dead, If they hadn't killed each other what kind of power was near them." Hiita wondered. There was no time to delay, she reached the top, and attempted to get Wynn out of there. "Wynn, lets go, we need to hurry." Hiita said. "Why?" Wynn asked. "Seriously, you need a reason, this is the fort of the evil army. It isn’t safe." Hiita replied.

"Oh on the contrary, it couldn't be safer. Hiita we should stay" Wynn said. "Gilford, Lucius, both dead, something seriously strong did that, we don't want to meet that." Hiita retorted, the reaction of Wynn had yet to fully sink it. "Hiita, I killed them both. So see we are perfectly safe." Wynn said with an eerie calmness. "What? Why? Wait, how?" Hiita asked in a flight of thoughts. "Well, I am only half Wynn right now sister. I am also so much more. I have awaken, do you recognize me?" Wynn asked. "What? What are you? What have you done to Wynn?" Hiita screamed. "I take that as a no. Well I am the lord of the storm, the dark lord of the element wind. I am Dark Armed Dragon! Only been in this vessel a few hours, so still getting used to it." Wynn said wit a smile.

Hiita couldn't comprehend this, "No." She thought "It can't be true, Wynn can't be a dark lord." Hiita continued. "My dear it is true, but do take it in stride, I want all of my children to be happy. Most of all you. I wish to do you no harm." Wynn said "Your Dark Armed Dragon, an evil lord, why would I ever believe you." Hiita shouted. "It is simple, my dear. Only weaklings lie, because they are not strong enough to defend the truth, with my power I could simple force you to stay, but I want us to be friends. I will never lie to you. Because I don't need to. I know the truth, in time you will accept what has happened. I will allow you that time. We are after all family." Wynn said sincerely.

"Why did you kill them?" Hiita said referring to Gilford and Lucius. "As it may surprise you, Wynn is more upset with what I did to Lucius. I killed Gilford because he attacked me, but we both liked it. I killed Lucius because he was going to attack you. He didn't heed my warning, and well his purpose was to awaken me, he has, thus he is no longer important." Wynn said very casually. "See, that’s why I know your not Wynn, she would never be so calm about killing. Never ever would she want to see anyone hurt." Hiita shouted.

Wynn shut her eyes for a moment. Then her attitude changed, she was back the real Wynn. "Your wrong Hiita, I did want Gilford to die, I am sorry, I didn't mean to cause you harm. Dark Armed Dragon hasn't been lying to you, I can feel it." Wynn said before reverting back to DAD. "Tricks, all of it" Hiita said still resisting. "I assure you, it wasn't, but as I said, take your time, we have plenty of it dear." Wynn said. "I challenge you to a duel, if I win, you leave Wynn body now!" Hiita said. ""And if I win?" Wynn replied. Hiita stumbled to say anything, she hadn't expected that. "If I win, you accept the dark spirit of fire into you just as Wynn has accepted me, deal?" Wynn asked. Hiita was unsure what to do, that was a high risk, but for Wynn she would. "Deal" Hiita shouted.

DUEL

Hiita had won, in a way, Eatos had appeared in there duel, if it wasn't for Eatos Hiita knew she would have lost. DAD was being banished back into the void from which he came, but he had some final words. "Curse you Eatos, but it is only a trivial matter, Wynn said yes once, she will say yes again. And if I am to rejoin this hell your coming with me." Wynn said as she launched a shadow like spell at Eatos, chaining her up, now when Dad Spirit left Wynn and returned to the pit, it dragged Eatos with him.

Wynn collapsed, Hiita went Wynn and carried her out, she eventually met up with the Celtic Guardian as they all went back to there camp. It was time to celebrate, they had after all won, at least for now. Hiita was preparing food for when Wynn wakes up, soon after finishing Wynn started to do just that. They both went over to her. "Ow, I feel like I been run over by a train, is everyone alright." Wynn asked. "Yeah" Hiita said, caring about nothing else right now. Not about the other dark lords, not about anything except that Wynn was safe and evil free.

"Wynn, I made you something, come on." They walked over to the fire, "Wait fire, I wasn't using fire" Hiita said. A closer inspection revealed a fox had been in there supplies, it was eating what Hiita made for Wynn. 'You bastard" Hiita said as she slammed her staff over its head, it fell over. "Sorry Wynn" Hiita said “It is really fine, I am not hungry right now anyhow." Wynn said meekly. Wynn looked closer, "Hey, cute, it looks like a fox fire spirit, they are rare, I hear if you catch it, it will follow you forever." Wynn said.

Fox fire got up and began rubbing against Hiita leg. "Hey, whats it doing, I didn't catch it" Hiita said. "Oh yes you did, you caught it on the top of the head with your staff." The Celtic Guardian said thinking about how fox fire was not the first or likely the last to receive that treatment. "Wait what, that counted, no fair, get it away from me. Here Wynn, you think it is cute, take it" Hiita said handing The fox to Wynn, who happily took it. But it jumped off Wynn fairly fast and from its new height tackled Hiita face knocking her to the ground. "Why me!?" Hiita said.. Wynn chuckled, but it was a front, she was worried, were the other charmers safe? Were they already fused with the dark lords? Was she happy or sad about no longer feeling DAD? She didn't know the truth to any of them, and she suspected, sooner or later, she is going to need to. Though for the moment she just tried to laugh with Celtic Guardian, she would have plenty of time for worry later.

Oh, didn't realize it was supposed to be anniversary theme, I thought it was just for the anniversary.

I am not even sure how I could have done a action story with a anniversary theme. I mean I suppose I could have put little nods here and there, but that seems forced.(IE Sky fire attacked on an anniversary or that Hiita says they will look foward to celebrating an aniversary of reuniting.) Otherwise I got nothing lol.
