| First, let me give an explanation on how making cards on YVD.
-Open your YVD folder, you could find a file named "YVD.set" there. -Open YVD.set with Notepad. -You can see the list of all cards in your YVD there. You can start making a new card there. This is the format to make a monster card:

Effect Monster:

Normal Monster:

Spirit Monster (change the "Spirit" to "Toon" for Toon monsters, and "Union" for Union monsters):
|Izanami|83|TDGS|Fairy/Spirit/Effect|Water|4||1100|1800|This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to its owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, you can discard 1 card to add 1 Spirit monster from your Graveyard to your hand.|
Normal Tuner Monster:
|Water Spirit|2|5DS1|Aqua/Tuner|Water|1||400|1200|This ancient water spirit haunts the glacial monoliths of Antarctica. It has the power to seep into the pores of any substance and chill it to the bone.|
Effect Tuner Monster:
|Effect Veiler|2|DREV|Spellcaster/Tuner/Effect|Light|1||0|0|During your opponent's Main Phase, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard and select 1 monster your opponent controls. Negate that monster's effects until the End Phase.|
This is the format to make a Spell Card:

Examples:
Equip Spell:
|Scroll of Bewitchment|48|LON|Spell Card|Spell||Equip|||Select 1 Attribute. Change the Attribute of the equipped monster to the one you select.|
Normal Spell:
|Mind Control|3|WC5|Spell Card|Spell|||||Take control of 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field until the End Phase. This monster cannot declare an attack or be Tributed.|
Continuous Spell:

Quick-Play Spell:
|Book of Eclipse|62|TDGS|Spell Card|Spell||Quick-Play|||Change all face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position. During the End Phase, flip all face-down Defense Position monsters your opponent controls face-up, and your opponent draws 1 card for each.|
Ritual Spell:
|Ceremonial Water Mirror of Ritua|41|DT10|Spell Card|Spell||Ritual|||This card is used to Ritual Summon a "Ritua" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon. If this card is in your Graveyard, you can return it to the Deck to add 1 "Ritua" Ritual Monster from your Graveyard to your hand.|
Field Spell:
|Secret Village of the Spellcasters|61|CSOC|Spell Card|Spell||Field|||If you control a Spellcaster-Type monster and your opponent does not, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards. If you control no Spellcaster-Type monsters, you cannot activate Spell Cards.|
This is the format to make a Trap Card:

Normal Trap:
|Spiritual Water Art - Aoi|51|CRV|Trap Card|Trap|||||Tribute 1 WATER monster on your side of the field. Look at your opponent's hand, select 1 card from it, and send that card to the Graveyard.|
Counter Trap:
|Dark Bribe|2|GX04|Trap Card|Trap||Counter|||Negate the activation of and effect of an opponent's Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. Your opponent draws 1 card.|
Continuous Trap:
|Royal Command|80|LON|Trap Card|Trap||Continuous|||Negate the activation and effects of all Flip Effect monsters' effects.|
-Save your YVD.set once you're done and run your YVD. Search and check if your card already appears in your YVD or not. If its not appear, you probably made a mistake when you make it.
-If you want to add the card's image, open your YVD's "Images" folder. Afterthat, make a new folder there with the name of your Card Set. Open the image you want to use in image editor softwore such as Photoshop, then resize/crop it until the size becomes 40 x 40 pixels. Then, save it in GIF format, put it in the card set's folder. The image's filename should be the name of a card you created, without the space. For example, for "Dharc the Dark Charmer" card image, you should create a folder named TDGS because its from TDGS card set. And, the image should be put in TDGS folder with the filename darkthedarkcharmer.gif .
If you want to share your card's image, compress the card set's folder into .rar or .zip file and upload it to the file hosting site such as Mediafire or 4shared. Your opponent cannot see your card's image if he/she didn't have the image file in his/her YVD.
Okay, now you can start making your own card in YVD.

Now for the RULES!!
- You'll make YOUR OWN Archetype there. Don't make a single card that would be too splashable to other deck, such as card with the effect like "Discard 1 card, return all monsters on the field to their owner's hand." or "Discard 2 cards. Draw 3 cards." Cause they're not theme-based and every deck can use them. Also, don't make a card for existing archetype that Konami already have. This is for our Original Archetype only. - Card's effect should be written in English, and make sure you write the card wording right, so the members can understand the card's effect. - Please try to make balanced cards. No cards like JD, please. If you think a member's card is broken, simply explain why that card is broken, CLEARLY. The effect of broken card should be changed to make it more balanced. Make sure when the 3 copies of a card is put in one deck, it wouldn't be broken. Cards we created shouldn't be added to the limited/semi limited list. - Post your card that already formatted for YVD. Example:

So, we can easily copy it and paste it to our YVD.set.
If you think that would be confusing to read, simply post your cards like this first (and then post the YVD formatted one):

If your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand, except during the Draw Phase, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard. For the rest of this turn, neither player can add card(s) from their Deck to their hand. (Drawing cards is also considered as "adding a card to the hand.")
Worm Linx LIGHT/Reptile/Effect/Level 2 ATK/300 DEF/1000
FLIP: If this card is face-up during the End Phase, draw 1 card.
Deep Sea Diva WATER/Sea Serpent/Tuner/Level 2 ATK/200 DEF/400
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Sea Serpent-Type monster from your Deck.
So, it'll be easier to read.
