| Hey, new guy here. A friend of mine convinced me to start Yugioh again so I decided to build a deck around Wynn and Stardust Dragon.
Anywho, I have a handful of cards that I think are useful, but not enough to make a deck. This puts me in the position to ask for help making this deck.
So far, I have the following:
Monsters x2 Familiar Possessed-Wynn x1 Wynn the Wind Charmer x1 Storming Wynn x1 Stardust Dragon
Spells x1 Mystical Space Typhoon x1 Smashing Ground x1 Lightning Vortex
Traps x1 Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi x1 Trap Jammer x1 Negate Attack x1 Magic Cylinder x1 Sakuretsu Armor x1 Bottomless Trap Hole x1 Solemn Wishes x1 Mirror Force
Total=16 cards
It's been quite some time since I've last played, so I'm a bit overwhelmed by what I should use. I know I need to get more monster cards, especially tuners and max out the amount of Wynn based cards. Aside from that, I don't have a clue what to get.

| Get Debris Dragon, it would help on getting Wynn out of the graveyard and synchro, plus, it's Wind Attribute, which fits the theme of Wynn. | |

| You're going to want some stall in there like Swords of Revealing Light or Nightmare steel cage(or both) to allow you time to summon out your monsters or flip Wynn, etc. Another great card is Garuda the Wind spirit, which can let you switch monsters battle positions at the end of your opponents turn, which can help you control their field that little but more. A big card to have is D.N.A. Transplant, which will allow Wynn to have a larger array of targets. Three Wynns would help you keep more control massively, as well as fodder in case of emergency. Another suggestion is Turbo Synchron. Again, this allows you to control the opponents field, and allows for some very good plays, but at a risk, for instance, you could get Wynn out with Synchron's effect, and send both to the graveyard for a synchro or Familiar Possessed.. You may want to think about chucking in Turbo Warrio alongside him, as both are winds and Warrior has an excellent effect that helps him sombat most cards. Last but not least, Armory Arm, as you could summon out Wynn easily with Turbo Synchron's effect and equip it to a monster....
Well... That was longer than I thought...

This is the best I've heard so far considering that asking for advice at the local game shops here lead to the whole store's customers arguing about what I should take and in the end, I end up walking out with nothing. One question though, I'm going to assume I need 3 of each tuner, but should I consider taking more than one of the synchro monsters? Also, I was considering taking rising air current, to boost my monsters which are all going to be WIND types thanks to DNA transplant. Finally, I plan to take 3 of all of Wynn's cards. But I feel like tuners and the Wynn cards are not enough. What other monsters should I take aside from the Synchros?

| Well, at least two of each tuner is necessary I think. If you want to go a cheaper route(which is not always the worse path), then only one Armory arm will do, but I would think about two Stardust Dragons and at least two Turbo Warriors. As for Garuda the Wind spirit, I'm thinking two max, as it's a dead-weight card on your first turn draw. High Level Monsters with good attack points are essential when wanting to take full advantage of Storming Wynns nifty effect, so Cybertech Alligator is your best bet there. Double summon could allow for some good plays with Storming Wynn e.g: Double Summon -> Storming Wynn + One other WIND Attribute monster -> Tribute WIND Monster to summon another from the hand(Possibly Alligator) -> Remove the monster you sent for Wynn's effect for Garuda. And there you go, Three monsters on your first or in one turn! As for more Wind type monsters, that's your choice, but Harpie Lady Three is a good card to fodder, and stalls well. That's all I can think of now, so tell me what you think of those suggestions | |

Against my better judgment, I decided to buy/trade the cards needed for my deck without consulting my two friends who've been playing Yugioh since day 1. I've bought most of what you've said with some exceptions. Here's what I've got so far: Monsters (17) x3 familiar possessed Wynn x2 Wynn the wind charmer x2 Storming Wynn x3 Turbo synchron x3 Debris dragon x1 Garuda the wind spirit x2 Raiza the storm Monarch x1 T.G. jet falcon (dont know why. Got it from a friend) Traps (13) x3 Spiritual wind art - Miyabi x2 DNA transplant x1 Magic cylinder x1 Mirror force x1 Trap jammer x1 Negate attack x1 Bottomless trap hole x1 Magic jammer x1 Sakuretsu armor x1 Cursed seal of the forbidden spell Spell (11) x1 Scapegoat x1 Lightning vortex x1 Swords of revealing light x1 Rising air current x1 Terraforming x1 Monster Reborn x1 Smashing ground x1 Book of moon x1 Mystical space typhoon x1 Dark core x1 Dark hole Side Deck (3) x1 Stardust dragon x2 Turbo warrior Total=44 cards It should be noted that I have 1 Majestic Star Dragon, 1 majestic dragon and 1 stardust xiaolong. I REALLY doubt that I can use these effectively so I won't use them. The strategy I want to use is to Use DNA transplant to make them wind types, use Wynn to take control of my opponents cards, buff them up with rising air current, and all the while trying to get stardust and Turbo warrior on the field. The two Raizas are there 'cause I need some strong monsters that aren't synchros. I haven't used them in a game yet, but I have a bad feeling that I've made a bad deck.

| Sorry for the double post, but I tried out my deck and I my gut feeling was....kinda right. My main problem is the two turbo warriors. The only way I can get them onto the field is to have both T.G. Jet falcon and Wynn the wind charmer. Since there's only one Jet falcon and two Wynns in my deck. The chances of having getting both is really low. On top of that, the two Turbo warriors get in the way of drawing Stardust Dragon which is easier to summon. So until I have some more cards that can get me to summon turbo warrior without praying for really good luck, I'll probably just use Stardust dragon or at least one turbo warrior. | |

| With a bit of tweaking, I think you'll find that deckwill go far. Air current is a little useless with Transplant out on the field, and the montsters are lacking in numbers a bit, but apart from that, looks good. | |

| Maybe some flying kamakiris could help. I also used lady ninja yae to get rid of spells and traps. | |

| Okay, a bit of trading, 12 dollars and some begging later, I've upgraded my deck a bit more.
The deck is the same is before with some exceptions:
x1 Top Runner x1 Dandylion x1 Black Rose Dragon -1 Magic Jammer TOTAL= 41 cards (+5 Synchros)
The basic strategy behind the deck is the same, both take control of the opponent's monsters and use them for synchro summoning if necessary.
Dandylion helps bring out Stardust Dragon. A fluff token, Wynn the wind charmer, and a Debris dragon and he's out by at best turn 2. Even better if I get Top Runner in my hand in the first turn since he's a level 4 tuner.
Black Rose Dragon is even easier to get out. A debris dragon and a Wynn the wind Charmer gets her out surprisingly quick.
I should mention that if anyone is planning to build this kind of deck, you're greatest enemy is D.D. decks. T.G. jet falcon, Dandylion and Stardust lose their effect when they're removed from play and if that happens, you've pretty much lost.
