| Alright, so here's the second of my Shadoll decks I made. It's a Gusto hybrid, since I thought there are a few neat plays that I can do by mixing these two archetypes, including more access to Rank 5s and more diverse Synchros (and even potentially Simorgh, though I haven't put it in here). I'm not super confident about it, though, because I lose my consistency to make Nephilim as well as becomes a bit more difficult to make Sphreez (though it's still possible and I have her in the Side). Anyway, deck:
Monsters: 3x Shadoll Falcon 3x Shadoll Dragon 3x Shadoll Lizard 3x Gusto Gulldo 3x Gusto Egul 2x Winda, Priestess of Gusto 2x Caam, Serenity of Gusto 1x Kamui, Hope of Gusto
Spells: 3x Shadoll Fusion 2x Instant Fusion 1x Contact with Gusto 1x Foolish Burial 1x Forbidden Dress 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Dark Hole 1x Book of Moon 1x Mind Control
Traps: 2x Call of the Haunted 1x Powerful Rebirth 1x Fiendish Chain 1x Solemn Warning 1x Torrential Tribute 1x Bottomless Trap Hole 1x Compulsory Evacuation Device
Extra: 3x El-Shadoll Midrash 1x El-Shadoll Nephilim 1x Daigusto Gulldos 1x Daigusto Emeral 1x Arcanite Magician 1x Black Rose Dragon 1x Scrap Dragon 1x Tiras, Keeper of Genesis 1x Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh 1x Stardust Spark Dragon 1x Armades, Keeper of Armaggedon 1x Vulcan the Divine 1x Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger
As with my other one I'm pretty new to Shadolls, so any help is appreciated. Thoughts?

| Ok. lol I wondered how long it would take for a list like this to appear. A few things. 1. Why so many spells. This deck needs to be defensive, generally speaking spell offensive, traps defensive. -1 swap -2 contact -1 duality -1 mind control(this one I a torn one, but I tin minus) Lance is interesting, I think a second mst is better, but not that is a personal tech..
I also don't like fensing shadows here. Main reason, is it is sort of a pure tech as far as I am concerned. And I do think there are some possble play idea but I think until there is a wind fusion, there isn't enough spam. I think you monster line up doesn't need to be max on those 3. I think for your purpose actually beast looks like a much better card. And falco looks like he fine at a lower number, so I suggest -2 falcon +2 Beast also -1 winda +1 caam Keep kamui, he is can be better here.
For traps Could go standard +1 call of haunted +1 Bottomless trap hole +1 Comp +1 fiendish +1 ...... random
But I think +1 call of the haunted +1 powerful rebirth +3 needle ceiling Would be more interesting
Next problem, extra deck. Now without a junk syncron, 1 gulldos should be enough. -1 rank 7 -1 Daigusto gulldo -1 mildrah
+ Emeral(for testng purpose) + the lv8 shadoll(cuz from archante magician poping opponent backrow to this thing, should be the goal of the deck) +armedies cuz lv5 and is a light target

| Supply Unit works better in this deck compared to in your Shadoll Eater deck, isn't it? Since it has Gustos. Not to mention if Midrash is on the field you can only ss once, so opp kill your Gustos more than once, then you can't ss recruiter anymore. So Supply Unit can recover you from that. | |

Hope it helps Thank you very much for your in-depth comments, Wynn! This helps a lot. I think I will add a few more traps, especially considering when I tested the deck I sorta needed them at times lol. Regarding Beast, however... I don't think it's better than Falcon. Falcon is just too good lol, it allows me to spam more from the graveyard as well as provide access to more synchro options I wouldn't otherwise have. And because this deck doesn't rely as much on drawing so much as it does manually dumping the Shadolls or special summoning the Gustos, I don't think Beast's effect would be the most useful compared to the other Shadolls. Also, I do like that it's a Level 5 for easier Xyz options, but the only easy way to summon it would be through Call of the Haunted, which has much better targets imo, and Falcon, which you proposed I take out anyway lol. Extra is also very tight on space if you couldn't tell lol, but I definitely can't take out any Midrashes, since that's the key card of the deck lol. But I do agree with adding Nephilim and Emeral, so I'll work with it and see what I don't need the most. - Eria wrote:

Usually I don't have to worry about Midrash conflicting with the Gustos because Midrash rarely stays on the field longer than 1 turn (Instant Fusion is the main factor behind this). I do like Supply Unit, but I sorta feel about it the same way I feel about Beast, which I mentioned above. Still, I may try it out. | |

Because this is a hybrid deck, and he summons monsters facedown. I think he is more useful in th grave, as MST bait to call of the haunted.Also, running falcon makes beast even scarier. Also, running beast gives you something the others don't have. A draw. And I think a draw = options vs triple falcon, which is just consstancy to a play that might not even help you. Aso beast into tiras = epic. Just saying. Espically if it is with the shadoll fusion. Since shadol fusion can possible let you fuse from deck, a archanate magician, that than fuses to a lv8 by sending a beast(draw 1) then the lv8s effect and send the second beast to grave or falcon, just gives you options. -1 lv4 for emeral means emeral re/adds her to the extra. Being the goal/hope. | |
