So, why this thing makes some people pissed off by just looking at its face?
Its unique for me.

LOLs At the first picture. It sounds like he wants to eat them or something O.o

Simple, its smile and and sometimes its effect is annoying.

But if we can use it right, it's a FTK. Just like Kaze posted.

Yeah, whoever can up with that Empty Jar deck idea is a genius. But I think the reason people don't like Morphing Jar is because it gives off this creepy vive...I know it gives me that feeling... *shivers*

I miss this card

It's so funny how I'm discovering so many more strategies that can use this card now after it's already banned. Do you think this card will stay banned forever, or will it come back like Magician of Faith? Discuss.

It will stay banned forever but Konami will make a watered down version.

Or alternatively they'll make a watered down version, but when they see that nobody's using it they'll relimit.

If Magician of Faith, or even worse, BLS, could get out from prison/underworld (read : banlist), then this card might someday see the sunlight again. But I bet it's not gonna be anytime soon.


But really. When this card is an 'ally', I like how he works. But as 'opponent'... I don't know how many times I was caught in surprise thanks to this MJ.

Even as 'opponent', Morphing Jar is still fun. Having low amount of cards in hand, then attacking this and drawing 5 can really set you up well. Also, it's not like Cyber Jar or anything that resets the field, so you don't have to worry about losing any field presence.

Umm that's not really true either. MoF I'll agree is slow now, but BLS is still very incredibly broken, in the same way something like Brionac or Trishula is, actually. Besides, if they're "not broken at all anymore", then why aren't they at 3?

As for Morphing Jar, it never got any "more broke" at all. Its uses are pretty much the same as they were before. It's just that Jackpot 7 came along and decided to make an alternate win condition out of it (which as I've said before can still be done consistently without using either of the Jars).
