Hippocampus's CCG

Hey everybody! As I mentioned in my first post here, I run a very small ccg where we create our own cards and duel with them. We are looking for new members, so if this sounds like something you're interested in, please reply to this thread!

We use the online program DuelPortal to play games, since it's playable through a browser (meaning no downloads) and it is currently very easy to use, with a nice interface of drag-and-dropping cards among other things. We also have a HCCG wiki where you can go to read about the cards and deck strategies in our game. So come play with us

While there are hardly any OCG/TCG cards in our game, the Charmers are just so awesome that I couldn't resist including them and making new support for them. So, because this forum is all about the Charmers, I'm going to post some of the support cards I have made for them. Also I should mention that none of the artwork is mine except for the last two, which you should be able to recognize because I suck at drawing

We use a modded version of YVD (I know it's not as user-friendly as DN, but it's the only way to upload custom cards). I host the download in a single .zip file, so you don't have to actually install anything beforehand, but I didn't post the link here because I wasn't sure if anyone was interested in joining yet.

It is password protected, though, but I can PM you the password. Are you interested in joining?

I just sent you the password via PM.
When you open the link, there should be a .zip folder called "YVD - CCG". Download that to your Downloads folder and extract it there. Then open the folder and click on the application called "Yugioh Virtual Desktop 9" and you should have it!
I'll try to be online for a good part of today, so if you want to duel, let me know

Also, if you have questions or problems about anything, don't hesitate to ask. But it might be easier to use the chatbox for quick things like that.

Hey everybody!

Just letting people know (for all interested, anyway) that the YVD server is back online, and so our CCG is running again, this time with an all new booster pack! If anyone is interested to play, let me know and I'll send you the password/download link!

Looks great! I couldn't resist laughing a bit at Tuner the Synchro Charmer, though. I'll try to join when I'm able. Till then, please keep making more cool cards!

Haha thank you so much! I can PM you the download info whenever you're ready to join.

As for new cards, it's confirmed Dharc and Lyna will be in the next booster. So you know what that means...

first Hippo, your drawing are awful

second, I believe Tuningware being the familiar are much cooler

Also, I'd like to make an announcement here. HCCG is actually moving online carriers from YVD to DuelPortal... and it's a LOT easier to set up. Here's the link for anyone interested: Link
When you go to register, select the HCCG tab. Also let me know what your username is when you register, for two reasons: 1) so I can PM you the verification code (since I need to contact admin to do that atm), and 2) so we can play against each other

Hey everybody!

So it's been a while since this thread was updated, so I thought I may add some news about what I've been working on lately.
HCCG now has a wiki, link is here, where you can visit to learn about all the cards and deck strategies in the game. If there are any ruling questions or card erratas in the future, they will be posted there. Right now I'm the only one working on this, so progress is a bit slow, but all the pages for cards, booster sets, and banlists are up there, and I'm currently writing about various archetypes and individual card strategies. Also if you want to make fun of my art, you can see all the cards with pictures I've drawn on there too. Anyway, I'll be updating the OP to include this, so feel free to look around there, and remember, if you're up for a duel, don't hesitate to ask me

Note: for Kaze and Wynn, let me know if you want your creator names to be something else.

Make it affiliated with Charmer Forum.
Because, apparently Charmer Forum is Hippocampus' home.

Charmer Forum is indeed my home, but I do want to cater to more than just Charmer lovers in my CCG

Hippo, i finally managed to download the Silverlight, gonna try the Duelportal now

Hey everybody! Just poppin' in to say that HCCG has a new banlist. Read about it here.

Also a new booster set is in the works, set for release sometime next month, so look forward to that!

I can't have Silverlight because it download it might virus.

Also if you want you can have my cards in the system for the boosters yeah haha be it.
