The True Six Samurai

True Six Samurai, Elder of the Warrior from the Past


Yosh, from a fan of The Six Samurai, I came to give information about a new Sub-Type, named True Six Samurai.

True Six Samurai, introduced by a new booster called "Storm of Ragnarok" abbreviated STOR. From the names of the new Six Samurai, one might expect Konami to make a story that before the Six Samurai which we know now, there has been Six Samurai before, which is the youth version of The Six Samurai's "Big Boss", residents of Shien's Castle, which has the effects different and more powerful than they are now (in spite of it, The Six Samurai is still the greatest )

Not too many stories that I can give about the appearance of True Six Samurai. But, with their appearance, it is definitely the power-of-the Samurais would exceed the existing decks. Samurai would regain their glory!

The weakness of their appearance, it can be ascertained that the Castle Entrance, Gateway will limited, hopefully it will not be banned.

I love the archetype, the arts and effects are amazing. Also the fact that many of the true six samurais are the "new" six samurai's oldies is amazing.

About the deck... sadly samurais will turn into an overused archetype, and gateway will become limited (good, cause I dont have anyone yet).

Finally, about the tuners/synchros.. I like them, cause they respect the archetypes idea; swarm-control (as long as they use ONLY one synchro)

it's like the fans' expect, the Samurai have Synchro and Tuner

Anyway, what do you think bout their effects? I think they're ' broken ' . Too many special summon and increase ATK. An OTK, is possible in 2nd turn

or FTK with mass driver, though... I think you can OTK with it...

1. Gateway (just to search what you need)
2. Normal Summon Zanji/Irou/Kageki/anyone basically XD
3. Special Summon Kizan/Grandfather and use gateway to search for something you may need
4. Special Kizan/Grandfather
5. Special Summon Shien (Shogun)

6. Happy Birthday; OTK 1800+2100+2100+2500 or use the 2 counters left on gateway for... 2300+2600+2600+2500

They're downright broken. Imagine this hand:

Double Gateway+Any Six Sams+Kizan/Grandmas/Kageki+Mass Driver = FTK

Great Shogun Shien+Kageki+Kagemusha of the Six Samurai = Perfect Spell and trap lock

If Konami didn't limit (or semi-limit) Gateway, then they are crazy.

Or perhaps Konami wanted to make the game pace even more faster... (considering the insane boost on some other deck as well)

i just think that the older True Six Samurai has downgraded effect, compared to their young ages. what happened? i think, the older someone, the great ability they has

I like the fact these were all hinted at in the initial release, for instance hand of the six samurai has her old armor in the back ground, and things like that. Makes one wonder how long they have been planning this...
