| Hi everyone, if you all like the Charmers, you must be love this card better than Charmers! *shot* Ok, first, let's see the effect of this old card: FLIP: Equip this card to a monster on your opponent's side of the field and treat it as an Equip Card. Take control of the equipped monster. Your opponent gains 500 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases. Now, wonder why Konami gives Charmer's effect's sucks. Since we already have Brain Jacker, and Charmers are just downgraded version of it. Brain Jacker's effect's so damn better if compared to Charmers, for a Flip Effect monster that has effect to take control an opponent's monster. If people wants to use a Flip Effect monster to take control a monster, instead of Charmers, I think they'll run Brain Jacker instead if they didn't Charmed by Charmer's awesome artwork. orz. Why its better than Charmers: - can take control of any monster regardless of attribute. (This + Book of Taiyou is a Snatch Steal. Not to mention you can use it's effect during your opponent's turn by using Desert Sunlight) - It's become an Equip card, meaning it cannot be attacked while controlling opponent's monster, unlike the Charmers. And this would keep you control the monster longer than using Charmer's effect. Your opponent must destroy Brain Jacker in s/t zone if they want their monster back. -No need to use additional support such as Scroll of Bewitchment/DNA Transplant. Meaning, you'll have another slot for your deck, and less minus when you use Brain's Jacker's effect (compared to Charmers). - You would summon FP form of Charmer if you afraid its destroyed/attacked by opponent's card, meaning, it's a -1 if you summon FP Charmer. Brain Jacker don't need this. This is better than summoning FP, especially if you control opponent's monster with an attack of more than 1850 ATK or a DEF more than 1500, or a monster with useful effect you might use. Meaning, you don't need to waste the monster controlled by its effect to the graveyard. Why Charmers better than this: - it's ATK & DEF stats are lower than Charmers. - Summoning FP form of Charmer from Deck meaning a deck thinning, and usually, deck thinning is a good thing in many duels. (but, Royal Oppression can mess it) - If you control a monster with a low ATK/DEF with Brain Jacker, you can't upgrade it like you summon FP form of Charmer. - FP Charmer can use its piercing effect after its special summoned by its effect, while Brain Jacker don't have the ability of summoning a monster from deck/hand. - Your opponent gains 500 LP each turn if you use Brain Jacker (but, this strategically works well with Simochi) Overall, still, Brain Jacker is better than Charmers in most case. | 1. And it's a dark so it can be allured. This card just underrated. But, the rulings hurt just like charmers. This card's effect won't activate if this card destroyed by battle.
2. Also he takes one slot of spell and trap card zone. Mystical Space Typhoon and bye-bye. Not only MST. This card is also vulnerable by S&T destruction.
3. Charmers can charm a monster with their own respective elements. If you're afraid of their low ATK and DEF, and you're afraid of the monster charmed by charmers back to its own master, just tribute them so they can transform into FP form. Brain Jacker cannot tribute the 'charmed' monster. Not in million years.

| 4. You can't say Brain Jacker is cuter than Charmers. Does looking at Brain Jacker's artwork gives you a good feeling? orz. Oh yeah, anyway, Charmer doesn't have word 'tribute' in it's FP's effect. In Yugioh game, tribute and sending monster to the graveyard is already different and affect the gameplay. | |

What about no? Only charmers would gave a good feeling when you look at them. They charmed not only monsters but we were too.

| Please, if you saying a card is a garbage, it's same as saying your own favorite card that is underrated as a garbage. And our Charmers are garbage too.
If a card isn't useful for duel, at least, it can be a collector's item.

| lol, Brain Jacker is only slightly weird looking to me, It's a brain with wings, legs/arms, and a tentacle eye . Anyway, sure the Charmers are restricted to their own Attribute, but once they take a opponents monster, they can keep it as long as their on the field, and your opponent gets no gain out of it. and the S/T Destruction?, today it's all about blowing up the field, neither the S/T Zone or the Monster Zone is safe, especially from JD D:. | |

| 5. Charmers takes another space in monster zone, while Brain Jacker isn't.
6. Brain Jacker can't be attacked while in S/T zone, unlike Charmers.
7. Charmer itself, after controlling a monster, can be tributed/send to the graveyard with its controlled monster for a tribute summon/synchro summon, while Brain Jacker isn't.
8. What's the best monster card that have a Flip Effect to take control opponent's monster? - Art-wise, Charmers. - Effect-wise, Brain Jacker. Why use Dharc against a DARK deck? Why use Raina against Light deck? Just use Brain Jacker, it can control both attributes. orz.

| You got a point on all those, Kaze, but still, I'd rather use strategy with Charmers then brain jacker (Cute Girls/Bad-Ass looking Guy>>A Brain XD) who can give your opponent +500 a turn, but that's just me . @Ayai: lol, Try looking at Raviel/Uria/Hamon/Armityle, you definitely wouldn't want THOSE things watching you sleep XD. | |

| @Yuji Well, even Brain Jacker is better, I'll still use Charmers instead, because duel with my own favorite cards is fun. I just have to admit if Brain Jacker is better than Charmers.
For duels with a purpose of winning, i'm using Plants instead. =)
And Brain jacker is cute, indeed. Imagine if it's laughing in front of your eyes. =)
